HARBOUR VIEW STARTS ON THE ROAD WITH A VICTORY AGAINST SEBA IN MONTEGO BAY
A ninth minute strike from Fabian Taylor was enough to give the ‘Stars of the East’ a 1-0 advantage on the road in the season opening round. It was a five man build –up culminating with a series of passes initiated by Craig Stewart in midfield who slipped it inside the box to Nicholas McCreath who shunted one-time to the unmarked right foot of Taylor some ten yards to the right of a hapless Warren Barrett who could do precious little but to deflect the ball into the net. Seba responded but was denied by strong defensive organization by Captain Damion Stewart, William Richards, Clifton Waugh and goalkeeper Leroy Grey. In addition two goal attempts were ruled offside.

Good ball possession in mifdfield through Baris Johnson,Stewart and Daniel Shaw was complimented by alert interceptions from national representative Chris Jackson and later by substitutes Jermaine Hue. Sean Fraser and Anthony Leslie frustrated the eager Seba aggregation which is a very capable squad lead by Dean Weatherly and former Violet Kickers coach Errol Gillette.
