‘The View’ refuses to loose at
Arnett in comeback 2-2 draw.
Harbour View marched into the
end of first round Finals next Sunday at a venue to be
announced when we played to an exciting 2-2 draw away at
Arnett Gardens yesterday
to set up a repeat game between
both teams a week later.
All three teams Harbour View
,Arnett and Hazard will end the round on 24 points each, the
superior goal difference of Harbour View (17) followed by
Arnett (11) then Hazard (10) means Hazard once again has
failed by the narrowest of margins to qualify for another end
of round finals, three in the last three years following their
3-0 victory over Seba United yesterday at the Ferdie Neita
Complex
The first strike on goal by
Jomo Gordon rocketed of the crossbar and he would score for
Harbour View on minute 39 to level the score as Cornel Chinsue
had fired Arnett into the lead 10 minutes earlier.
Two second half strikes by
former league MVP’s firstly Arnett’s Fabian Davis from the
penalty spot in the 67th minute then the magnificent
goalscoring form of midfielder Jermaine Hue scored another
freekick from 30 yards out in minute 80 to make it his fourth
goal in three games over the last seven days.
In the opening game both Under
21 teams played to a one all scoreline. |
